What we collect

We collect anonymous usage data through Google Analytics and PostHog to understand how people use the calculator. This includes page views, referral sources, and general geographic region. We do not collect personally identifiable information.

Salary data

The salary amounts you enter are sent to our server to perform tax calculations but are not stored or logged. Calculations are performed in real-time and results are not persisted.

Cookies

We use cookies for analytics (Google Analytics, PostHog), to remember your theme preference (light/dark mode), and to serve advertising (Google AdSense). In the EEA, UK, and Switzerland, a consent banner will appear before any advertising or non-essential cookies are set; you can change your choice at any time by clearing the banner's cookies and reloading the page.

Advertising

We display ads served by Google AdSense. Google and its partners may use cookies and similar technologies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this site and other sites, measure ad performance, and prevent fraud. You can opt out of personalized advertising at google.com/settings/ads or via aboutads.info.

Third parties

We use Cloudflare for hosting and CDN, Google Analytics for usage analytics, PostHog for product analytics, and Google AdSense for advertising. We do not sell or share your data with any other third parties.

API requests

API requests are not logged or stored beyond what is necessary for processing. We do not track which calculations are performed via the API. Standard request logs (IP address, timestamp, path) may be retained briefly for security and abuse prevention.
